Jim...I think she's ready for new boots....so the fitting process could begin again and and there will be? new stories to share...but if not Lynn......

Now correct me if I'm wrong...but did I hear someone say you were getting a pair of Head Raptors when you returned home from Aspen Jim? Well??

Actually Lynn was looking at boots in the store at Aspen when we saw the Kastle 78 available for demo.  I guess she must be thinking that since its no longr a struggle to get her tootsies in and out that there must be something wrong.  However, I have also seen a couple of times when she had to wait 20-30 minutes for the boots to warm up enough she could get them off.

Yes, courtesy of Lynn I have a $300 pair of Head Raptor's that I am going to begin breaking in evaluating this weekend at Whitetail in Pennsylvania.? That's about all I want to admit to at this point, but they weigh almost a pound less each than my current boots. They feel less stiff than my current boots, but probably aren't and probably will need to be softened.? I was actually quite surprised when I first tried them on, didn't feel very stiff at all (relatively speaking to current boots, I guess).? Had also tried on some Nordica's and Dalbello boots, they didn't seem to fit my foot as well.  However, I am a little bit scared because the Raptor has the same low instep that Harald bent into Lynns boots.  They bite when yuo take them off.

Only time will tell.
