Hey Perry ...Yup..Ron's almost dead on....I awoke Sunday morning around 2am, my usual call to the window when it's snowing when I go to bed. Nose pressing glass, the vehicles were covered in the parking lot. Went back to bed with thoughts of dancing on the JJ's........

When I awoke, I realized the snow stopped at 2:01am....yes we had 5 inches of fresh light pow. What that means on most eastern resorts is that the first 90 minutes you can find first tracks. After that, that snow is pushed around leaving hard pack where fluffy pow once settled.

So...I danced with the MX78's with no regrets. Found pow in the trees and soft snow along the edges all day and into the next day too.

Hoping this week to get some fresh out at Steamboat....finger s crossed.

Next year Perry, come on up.....we had a great time at Holiday Valley and Holimont, fun group of guys, and some really great skiing!
Best,
G
