I disagree on what is Harald's best book. As much as I think that ACBAES 1and 2 are excellent books and both made a huge difference in my skiing, the main focus of both books is the phantom move and the three releases, phantom, super phantom and weighted). The essentials is a comprehensive treatise on how to ski, pretty much for top to bottom starting with the feet and tipping and going through the entire kinetic chain. IMO it is the single best comprehensive ski instruction book ever written. My good freind Thor Kallerud who was the head coah of the USST continues to say that same thing. If I was starting out and was buying one book it would be the essentials.

I am little pumped. I am going back to MT next wednesday for 12 days. That following Monday, Harald and Diana are coming out to ski for 6 days!! Nothing propels my skiing like a few days working with Harald and Diana!!
