I will vote for Essentials NOW.? However, at the time I read ACBAES I it was the right book for this terminal intermediate because it talked about a lot of the other viewpoints that I had heard.? It helped me understand what Harald was teaching and also contrasted that with other viewpoints. For example, it explained why my ski patrol friend was telling me to unweight.? He's a wonderful skier, but couldn't explain the why, and I'm not good with the "just do this" approach to teaching. That whole "compare and contrast" approach was an information treasure trove for me at the time.

At the current time, I reference the Essentials book exclusively; haven't been back to the other two in a while.

However, would also put in another vote for 'just enjoy the skiing'.? The day that I don't stop to just enjoy the beauty of the hill and the poetry of being outside and on the snow is the day that I've asked Lynn to kick me real hard, in whatever part of the anatomy she chooses.? Talk about a motivator.? ;D
