Jb...it's about 2 hours in decent weather from Santiago to Portillo....beautif ul to see it go from olive trees and vineyards to full blown mountains and snow. The food, including lunches....outstand ing!

But hey....if you are thinking about a trip in the neck of the woods....consider the JC trip...great group of people, ..some awesome skiers and 1st class all the way.
Would love to share the Portillo experience with you and any other members of RS.
