yes, drill baby drill! Yes, who cares if it destroys countless livelihoods (fishing, hunting, tourism) peoples heritage and way of life and irreplaceable sea life, coral beds which are the key to the entire environment. Who cares if our beaches and marshes are ruined, it will only take 100's of years to re-grow- who cares that after the coastal areas are destroyed there are no more natural buffers to hurricanes. Who cares.... Since I have a ton of family living down there including my parents- who live on pensacola sound, I care. This is nothing more than greed- and since we as consumers paying for the cleanup courtesy of the bush administrations sweetheart deal with the oil industry capping the damages at 75 million and allowing a .08 charge to each barrel collected for cleanup needs- you might want to care..... it just proves my 1st boss's favorite line "one Oh
**** wipes out a thousand "atta' boys"- one spill is all it takes. Can we afford another one? how many disasters are acceptable. I don't have kids so when i go, i'm gone, you have kids? What will you tell them when we don't even need oil anymore? Is it really worth the risk? I don't understand. it's simply insane.
