Almost??? ???

I've driven from Prague to the Alps before and I?thought it was a long haul, but then I'm not from Kansas? ;)

All 3 of the Czechs in my group at work are skiers and two of them are pretty strong.? That speaks well for the Czech ski areas.? The Czech Republic is a great place and I'm sure Lynn's daughter will love going to school there.? (What a cool Mom Lynn is to support this!)

Any drive less than 8 hours is a walk in the park, anything more than 15 hours is a long haul.? I have driven non-stop (except for rest area naps) from here to Kansas a couple of times and that IS a long haul.? Kansas City to Colorado ski resorts is 10+ hours even with the "posted" speed limits of 70-75 (and longer if the Interstate gets closed due to blowing and drifting snow), but a lot of Kansan's still drive it at least once each winter.  The open spaces give a different perception of long distances when compared to you New Yorkers.  ;)

I have to admt that I am very glad that "I am not in Kansas any more."
