Leaving all the mid life cliches aside...it is great.

I am living in NW Reno about 30 min from Mt. Rose, 45 from Northstar and an hour from Squaw. I looked at Truckee (where I am working) to live but it was about 30% higher in cost. Ziggy is loving it out here and spends most of his time off leash, he loves to chase rabbits and coyotes although I am trying to ween him off of the latter. He also loves to go for bike rides with me ( I ride, he runs). The mountain biking even out my back door is killer.

Weather is great, I thought I saw a cloud last week but it was a jet stream and sometimes the humidity hits double digits. Needless to say, I am looking forward to skiing. There are some killer all you can eat sushi places and that has been my downfall. Many know me as a scotch & bourbon drinker but I have had maybe 4 drinks since I have been out here.
