I (we) skied a couple of days at Okemo, one at Killington and then another at Stratton two years ago.? I agree with your Stratton assessement, was pretty under-impressed by Okemo (I was expecting to really like it there, lots of good press), and we had a surprisingly good time at Killington in spite of Lynn's predilection to not like it there based on past experiences and word of mouth (met up and skied with Todd there).? I actually think I like SugarBush (a bit north of Killington) better than any of them.? And I also really liked Stowe, but now we're getting really far north.

Gary, have you never experienced the joy of skiing at a really BIG mountain.? Elk is near Scranton, PA about an hour south of Binghampton, and is the pride of Lynn's part of upstate New York even though it is Pennsylvania.? ;D
