Steamboat this past week was a real treat. From dumps of snow Monday and Tuesday to sunshine and talcom powder groomers mid week....skied it all with great friends.

Perry, Gloria, Ed and I opened and closed the mountain down on 2 of those days and one of those, it was negative 13F most of the day...but the sun worked it's magic.

Perry came out with just his Watea 98's and showed his ability to carve, float, bump throughout the week. It's been a year or better since we've skied together and his technique is solid. He also likes challenging himself as we dove into some tree glades. Gloria went from making "J" turns to smooth carves in 3 days...she felt so good about her skiing as we all did.

Great skiing, great meals hosted by Perry and Gloria with Perry's specialty chili...for sure an award winner.

WOW...is all I can say....I'm sitting in the condo packing up and really don't want to leave. Yup...I know many of you get that for sure.

Looking forward to more adventures this season...hope you all are doing the same.
