I knew that I would get more questions than I can answer with the info at hand. I'm not in Vegas for the show so I'm getting only pieces back from our people there. Th supershape magnum was online at www.skipressworld.c om/snowpress as part of an article on frontside all mountain skis. the Fischer info came to me three weeks ago but had not talked to anybody who has skied them yet. The construction is sandwhich sidewall with waists ranging from 70 to 90+ ( sound like some of the monsters?).
The industry is headed to the wider waisted carvers with big tips and differing tails as the new all mountain ski. This years Dynastar Contact 11 ( I bought a pair also Michael ) Nordica Mach 3 Rossignol Z9 of course the Metrons are good examples of current models in this new category.
