Nicely done Jim....hmmm....not China again  :-[...but hey it's the political and financial way of the world.

You do bring up some interesting ski base points.......adding even more confusion to my muddled mind.. :'(

I mean are manufacturers building in (like they do everything else) obsolesence into all things made?

Are they prematurely trying to wear out my bottoms?

Ok..this is my favorite:

If I add powdered graphite to my waxing process, will my skis go faster, last longer...hmmmmm...f aster and last longer...I'm thinking there maybe some other uses for that too.... 8)

So...my Kastles whose bases are well scared with trophy depressions will be that way until I can get some legitimate answers....hmmmm... maybe I can send them to China for an overhaul.. ;)  Best, g
