Lynn,

Congrats! Perhaps in your own time and words, you will share how the Progressor 8's became the winners of the "my next ski" contest. I always enjoy reading how others come to final decisions as it's often a long, strange trip. I seem to remember riding chairs at Elk last January and newer skinny skis were on your mind.

Fisher owners always seem to be very loyal and enthusiastic. They just have this happy face when talking about their skis. Note to self, demo them when you have a chance.

Hi LP,

As noted above, Terryl and Svend had a lot of influence on my decision to go with the Progressor's w/o demo'ing.

Also, reviews corroborated their general appeal across the board.

I was quite taken with two of the skis I demo'ed that day at ELk. A Dynastar and an Elan. Both were very different feeling though. I would have wanted to try them each again in different conditons.
It seems almost easier to just get a ski and try to be happy with what you've got, than actually trying to determine which is the "best" one for "me".

I know, heresy around here.

OTOH, if I really dislike them, I could probably sell them. John and Ron seem to have this down very efficiently. Well, maybe Ron does.  :D
