Just to set the record straight, I have sold a few pairs of skis, but clearly not as many as I should have!!

I have no issue with my decision to never sell skis that I have liked and loved (even If I rarely ski them anymore) like the original SS which allowed my skiing to soar. I have have an emotional attachment to those skis. What I do regret is not selling a good list of skis that I never loved, have no emotional attchment to and they are gathering dust. I do justify this becuase I have a great aresnal of skis that others can use and try when they visit in MT.

Yes, Ron has got it down. Few can aspire to his ability to let 'em go and ship 'em out.
I think more folks are like you John, keeping something that isn't quite right for the time when they might be!
And then, sometimes, there's inertia!
