If my husband were alive, he would be laughing his ass off!

He trained with and strongly encouraged the use of stretch bands for YEARS
instead of weights.
These are a  prettier variation of the systems he used.

Looks like a great work out!
Sounds like you are wisely listening to your body and resting within the class when appropriate.
