Jim is correct in that TRX uses nylon straps and not rubber band. The resistance is provided by body weight.

I've had 3 different instructors now and the specific exercises change. Today, Bosu, medicine balls and Kettleballs supplemented the TRX. The movements can become complex and take some getting used to. Generally, 2 different movements are done for 30 seconds each and then repeated. A quick break and then the pattern is repeated. So it's work for 4 minutes then a minute off to learn the next exercise patterns.

No way on earth I'd be able to do this outside of the group session.

Don't know the medical term for the pain that develops 24 to 36 hours after a major muscle is put thought the program, but, I'm living proof that shoulders, thighs, abs,  etc. are sending messages I've not heard in a long time.
