Ah indeed Todd....I have ventured into areas that look like pow and I'm thinking...Geesh..I wonder why no one has gone in there...happened at Lake Louise last year...certainly one of the rewards my skis took out of that run.

Hey but that happens when we're hunting and searching for the goods...

Still, they are my tools, and substituting those with some "false tools" would be sacreligious. (I worship no false skis)

Now I don't go out looking for rocks but even skiing off piste in bounds...they abound aplenty! I found at Big sky the local shale rock is alive and the little suckers ambush you all over the mountain...pesky little bast..ds!

Thank you Mike..yes I have grown up but only by necessity...having someone put their mitts on my bottoms and edges approaches emotional critical mass.. :o!

Still do I need a rock ski?....nah....just another good season on my Kastles and then they may need to be retired....or HOW many times can skis be base ground??? :D
