the thing is different boots are going to be good for different things.

I still do not get the entire Knee Rotary thing and reading about that I fell I do not ski that way. Although I differ from the most of the board and feel you need rotary to ski alot of off trail area, I do not differ in a I feel that most people over use rotary when tipping and pressure movements can get the job done alot of of the time even off trail.

with that said I am skiing 2(maybe three) boots this year.

140 Flex Krypton Pros
150 flex scorpions

and maybe a pair of 120 flex Cochise so I do not have to hike in my Kryptons and more.

without a doubt the Scorpions are way better on smooth hardsnow, but I feel like I ski much better on the Kryptons off trail, being able to flex your ankle is key IMO to being able to ski better off trail.  Which last I checked there is alot more off trail skiing than groomer skiing.
