Congratulations Lynn! And well done Sir Jim! The skis look beautiful.  Just a wonderful work of art.  I'm a big admirer of fine woodworking, and the inlays and marquetry on those are just fantastic.  Never thought I would see something like that on a ski topsheet. 

And the motif you chose is creative, meaningful, very touching.  Seems a shame to get them on the snow, hitting ice, getting wet....yikes.  Pamper those babies, Lynn! They really are very special, and to arrive on Thanksgiving weeekend was such nice timing -- a premonition of good times ahead
