Howdy Midwife;

I am glad to hear your thoughts on the Progressor 8's.  I bought these skies 2 years ago at Peter's website suggestion.  I have never bought a ski without demoeing.  I am very pleased with this skis performance.  It makes me a believer in realskiers reviews.  Two weeks in Colorado at Aspen (3), Steamboat, Breckenridge, Vail and Keystone, I never saw this ski.  I never see this ski in the Northwest either.  I did demo the Progressor 9's at White Pass, Washington last season.  Great ski!  Fischer alpine skis appear to not be distributed very well.  They have lots of nordic skis out.  I am going for the Progressor 900 at this seasons end.

The fact of the matter is that in our 50-60 day a season skiing,  90% of our skiing is done on hard/groomed surface with occasional off track use.  The Progressor models will do all that an expert skier needs.  The Progressor models will carve as well as any ski I have used in my 30 years experience.
