Anyone can be a USSA member and then you can get member pricing at any shop that gives racer discounts. I pay my dues every year but most places never even ask for your number.

I also see lots of RD slalom skis on sale at deep discounts on Ebay. I can't always find the Heads but Fischer RD skis are always available in abundant supply at big discounts (as well as other brands).
