Hi Jim!
I will ask about Maria tomorrow.
I also believe that the rule holds true here ..."an orange"
No, I believe that an orange helmet would clash with my teal/olive jacket. Too  many colors going on. Brown would be okay, but I bought silver since it was 30% off, fit my head and the last one in my size. SO NO COMMENTS about my helmet color, even if it doesn't going with my spring colors on the color wheel. >:D (where you picked up that info, I shudder to think of ;)

Interesting that the Solvista site does not mention the smattering of snow we have gotten most days. A freshening only of 1-2 inches, but keeps the slopes in very nice condition. A great mountain to practice drills on as our skiiing is 'deconstructed' and we slowly put it back together again.

I have benefited from the group lesson. Visualization is one method where I make changes. As I watch others and the eye becomes able to see smaller movements, I can relate it back to my skiing. I stand there, waiting my turn (hate to go first) and try to feel the movements in my head first. Everyone learns differently, but I much preferred this to the private I took with Harald last year. Looking at the videos each day of oneself and the others helps you see and learn where we all fall into bad habits.....and what to do to create new ones.
