It doesn't mean it won't or can't ski powder, its just not a dedicated powder ski. A true powder ski will and does perform better in powder conditions, less work, easier to turn, better float. The 94's are great in powder but not compared to the ease and performance level of the Shaman, Phil was skiing on his 100mm skis in boot high to just belwo the knee and couldn't keep up with me. He is a better skier for sure but the Shamans made the higher piles and pushed stuff feel like groomed runs.

The tops on the Shamans are too nice to pee on!?
