Point taken....

I'm sure that a ski that floats like a 50 gallon drum would make skiing knee high and above powder much more cushy and for certain much less work...no doubt.

This would require the pilot to have those skis ready when said conditions were eminent....

Having said that, I'm still a little more oriented towards a ski that allows a broader range of ski performance given that I'm not jumping on a Heli or powder cat every time my tootsies boot up.

This really is such a personal thing though because things like skiing style, terrain preference, technique, age and conditioning all play a factor in determining what ski or skis allow the rider to maximize the "fun factor"!

It's all great for the industry and I must admit.........I really do like your Watea 94's Ron....you know...the ones I marked..permanently!? >:D The 94 would provide less cross over than my 84's compared with the SS. But, I'm just going to wait until I either wear you out, you get a pair of Harts, or buy another pair of Icelantics!? ?8)

Best,
Gary
