Point taken....

I'm sure that a ski that floats like a 50 gallon drum would make skiing knee high and above powder much more cushy and for certain much less work...no doubt.

Best,
Gary

I'm just curious what is the width and length and sidecut of that 50 gallon drum?? Are these like a "going over Niagara Falls drums" or regular oil and hydraulic fluid drums.? What is the appropriate base and topskin wax for metal drums, and if the drum is round like most drums how can you tell the base from the topskin.? Just a bit curious.? You and ron have expanded my horizons SO much I just want to get as knowledgeable as possible.? ?;D   I had never even heard of anyone skiing on a drum, or does this harken back to the days of wooden drums, back in Brad's youth before shaped skis?  :o
