Viking BTW...i went back again to look at the bindings and I think ...your wife's binding adjustment is set in the firm spring condition.

I think when the screw is in the bottom position, it allows the ski to arc more freely...and I will check on my skis tonight.

 Actually if you place the shovel up on a bench or chair and place your knee in the center of the ski and arc it. Try that with the screw in the 2 positions offered. I think you'll see the difference.

It would appear this is NOT an adjustment you have on your new rides?
