« on: July 15, 2008, 07:00:39 am »
Not meant to be sensational or gross, I think these are very interesting, Here are some pics from my surgery. The first group is looking at my right lower abdomen, specifically in the lower region near the pubic symphysis. This is actually a "Direct Hernia' which was not seen my mri nor through two physical exams. Its the circular shaped whitish object near the center of the images. There are shots of the mesh covering. The recovery has been great took Finn for a 3/4 mile walk this Am. I have much greatermovement of my leg including adduction and ability to lift my leg. Another example why you just can't take the first dr.s words for things. My Dr. HAs been great. As an athelete himslef, he really has taken the extra steps for me. He covered a greater area for more protection and is personally seeing me on the follow up. Around here, you don't always see the surgeon but since he understands skiing and sports he knows how important this is to me. If anyone need a great General Surgeon in NJ, let me know!!!
