ME? Queasy over those? Are you kidding???
I have seen hernia repairs LIVE!!!!

Had a patient who was trying for a vaginal birth after cesarean with a history of hernia repair after baby #1.
She was tiny and so was her pelvis, so I knew it unlikely she would be successful with a probable 8 lb baby.

Labor went no-where, so we went for repeat c-section with our back up docs. (The midwife always stays during the procedure and for a while after when I was in private practice. I would take pics of the birth, probably the only one to get away with it!!! The staff would never let a husband take pics of the surgical field, even if a baby was the target). Anyway, this lady had multiple visible rips in her abdominal lining. Not the muscle, but the sheath. The Ob did multiple repairs and was tempted to call in a general surgeon to add mesh reinforcement.

I have seen cancerous lesions, bloody cysts, lots of babies. I have assisted at a small number of surgeries in emergent situations.

No Jim, not the least bit queasy. Curious yes, queasy, no.
