...gonna eat a lot of peaches....

Movin' to the country?  ;D

We had a great time. We went up to Manchester Saturday...right from CT. We then picked up route 100 in some random town and drove South to Dover. I always wanted to know how to get from Stratton to Snow...or the other way around...now I do. The weather was awesome too....perfect days.

Holy crap! TONS of ski shop sales! Tent sales everywhere. We hit one tent sale on the way up. My wife scored a vest, and two pairs of ski socks. Everything was half off. We passed a few more, and figured we'd hit them after Manchester. No dice since we left Manchester around 6PM.  :'(

Stayed at a nice Inn only a few miles from Snow. We did a little Mt Biking on Sunday...then more ski sales! I scored set of composite poles for $20...and my wife and I got two pairs of spring skiing gloves. I swear, it was like Steep and Cheap up there...sans the shipping.

I found two pairs of used twin tips for $199 each. I thought that was a pretty good price given the condition the skis were in. However, I didn't pull the trigger for one reason: Demo bindings. Had they been mounted with regular ones, I would have gone for it. Oh well. I'll keep looking. Currently, there are a few sets on e-bay, for new flat skis. Maybe I'll go that route....

Oh, and we did hit the brewfest! It was packed! They had a ton of beers to choose from.
