yes, truth be, I did hire a stand in.....

THe nomads are all mountain boards that are excellent in all conditions except hard pack, they just don't have much edge hold.  OTher wise, it's a easy ski that has a lot of energy pop and is very quick underfoot. Although they are short, mine are 168 twins, they are plenty stable and just a ton of fun. 140-105-120, they are very nimble and a blast to carve soft snow on. very easy to get on edge. Powder? A blast, even at the 2 plus feet, they were a nice blend of float but still stayed down in the fluff somewhat. Very maneuverable and again, plenty of stability for Steamboat. For real experts who may blast around at 50mph in big bowls, they may feel a bit shky but since I am not in that category, they are just too much fun. I think Gary will say similar things. Icelantic skis really have a unique feel to them that is just perfect for me.
