Ron, as best I can tell you have been to steamboat and skied the Argos is some big snow. Where is the review? Of course you may have sold them already as I noticed your comments on boots and I am two pairs behind. Last I remember you were still on Atomic CS 130's so you must have gone to the S11 and now the Kryptons.

If you did ski the Argos I would love to hear your comments.

Both Ron and I skied his Argos in Steamboat. I will not answer for him but as far as my feelings on the ski... Having a Blizzard background, I owned some Titan Nines, 2 pr. of Mag SL's, Magnum 8.7's and an unmounted (and skied) pair of Magnum 8.1's. My wife has Viva 7.6's and Eos 's. At Stratton last year, I skied the Cronos which, with an 88 waist, I expected it to be the spiritual successor to the Nine which had an 86 waist, not the case. Where the Nine felt like a big GS ski, the Cronos was soft and floppy with more soft snow tendencies. I was very unimpressed the way the ski handled the crud that I tested it in. When I posted my reviews on Epic stating so, I was told that the ARgos was more like my old Nine. After skiing the Argos on Steamboat, I was still disappointed, this ski felt like a big Cronos and still nothing like my old Nine. The ski felt lifeless and dead, in this 100-105 range I think there are much better choices out there. My 8.7 is more the successor to the Nine than either of these skis.

My wife, a solid but conservative 7 level skier loves her Eos's (a woman's Cronos), I an not going to rock the boat with her and I will just let her enjoy them.
