John was obviously going the extra mile trying to relate to you.? If he had said that he knew several HH instructors that skied in stiff/race boots he knew that you wouldn't relate to that as much as PSIA instructors.   ;D

By the way, I once owned a pair of Dale Boots with VFF (spring controlled variable forward flex) for a couple of years, three buckle design!!? But I don't know what my point is either --? I just felt like getting my first post of 2009 out of the way.
