I have said this before and I will say it again but this may be the last time. Yes, Haral;d Harb is my teacher and a dear friend. The bulk of what he says and teaches makes immense sense to me and I relate well to it. I am convinced that I would not be the skier I am today (which is not to imply any level approcahing greatness) without his instruction and the instruction of my dear friend Thor Kallerud who was the head coach of the US Ski team. Some of my best freinds in the ski world are PSIA instructors and I love to ski with them and two in particular are much better skiers than I will ever be. I am not interested in carrying on the battle in any way on this forum. I think I have made that clear. I have gone out of my way to make this clear and I have consistently avoided any confrontation on the PMTS/PSIA issue. Phil. I even invited you and your wife to come ski with me at my home mountain in Montana. In reality I can't do much more!!
Now as for what I do on the PMTS forum, this is a diffrent story. I will contrinue to defend keeping that forum as a place where PMTS is discussed and learned and I continue to beleive that people should post there for that reason and no other one.
So everyone can accpet me for the perosn that I am, Yes I am a true believer in PMTS and a friend of Harald Harb but I don't spend my life trying to convince anyone that it is the holy grail anywhere but on the PMTS forum.
So it's a New Year!! Maybe we can all make some new friends let the past go!!
JB,
I appreciate your candor. I kid because I love. Seriously, ask Jim, Gary or Lynn about our conversations from the Boat. I am all for what Harald has done with his TM and I really feel, if you found something that works for for you, by all means stick with it. When we do get to ski together and I truly hope that we do..I am very confident that we will agree much more than we disagree on all skiing topics including Harald. Cheers!
