I have taken a break from the treachery of my office and I walk into a den of treachery....
Ah yes....back with my peeps...
Ok, my thoughts on brushing...the scraping does just that, it scrapes off the excess wax...the magic is the brushing....the brushing forces wax into the bases...the more brushing and waxing the better the base hold up all day and during multiple use. Skis 2 and 3 years old can have nice shiny bottoms...and if you do the top skins with a nice fiberglass boat wax....you be popn' on the slopes!
Them babies will really shine and be your go fast best buddies. Brush away you should....you'll reap the benefits.
Now....Svend...the more espresso I drink...the better the brushing.
Now about my bottoms....there is some white on my SS and to soil that with smduged black molysomething wax...is sinful....Ok...it may work well but the price...for me....dirty bottoms....no no no...
Now I must add if I put a paste wax or a soft rub on wax? after skiing followed by a vigorous brushing before hitting the slopes the next day....they be gliding sweet. I also added a product called Zardox to my tool kit. It's a liquid silicone or teflon, I forget but it's very viscous, stays on well and very easy to use.
There.....now there's nothing nicer than a pretty bottom!?
G
Slow down here cowboy...skis can last 2 to 3
years

?

Surely No one told Ron, I think he thought it was 2 to 3
weeks.
I have a whole tub of Zardox, a customer of mine gave it to me. He actually worked on the formula when he was at DuPont.
