can we please leave him out of this, you're killing my buzz!? ?::)

Had my 1st class this AM- very interesting and challenging- learned a couple of very cool things.

started off with a side ways drill on the treadmill, emphasis is quick feet. kind of a sideways hop/gallup. Hard to describe. Really gets the heart pounding!? This really works the feet, ankles and adductors. Harder than it seemed after a couple minutes.

Next, walk backwards on TM at high incline for a couple. Works hamstrings and calves.

Squat rack- We did some very slow squats using a couple different feet positioning. One thing I learned was that I need to keep my knees out much more. They should be alligned with your feet (of course never extend over your toes but I assume everyone knows that) We do a couple sets at low weight, very slow, then let the legs come to 90 degrees, extend out 1/2 way and do reps a a very fast rate (just 1/2 way) until the legs start shaking. doesn't take long

A little stretching....Next, we put a step block on the floor with one leg on the step. go as fast as you can for 1 minute hop side to side with the one foot touching the step, kind of a side to side jump.

we did a hampstring and lower back drill. Hard to desribe but standing up with the lower cable bend over and whole leaning back you lift, using your lower back and hips, I't a visual thing!

Back to more quats again and another round on the step block.

Final stretch
