Are you trying to say that anyone that uses fat skis is a snowboarder?   ;D

Thanks, enjoyed it.

VERY FUNNY!

And in another sense, sadly true.

They are "new" technology which allow many skiers to access terrain at
which they don't have the skill for on more traditional skis.

For me and many others, the problem is non-enforcement of the ski code of safety.

Jim and I watched a a group of young guys straight line down a broken, snow field at mach schnell,
right onto the cat track below, not stopping or slowing and then blowing down thru the next open area.  Vail, btw.
It was other skiers responsibility to stay out  of THEIR way!! ::) >:(

Not much skill apparent, but the ability to use their super fats to surf over the snow.

I am of the opinion that ski resorts across the US need to go on a "safety" rampage.
Enforce, reinforce, enforce the code. Fat skis are here,  use them responsibly.

Okay, rant over. ;D
