Incredible deal on new race skis - $99

Here's a head's up for any race ski gear addicts within striking distance of Toronto (Helluvaskier, are you listening?):

Previous year's models of NEW race skis are on sale for $99 (flat; no bindings) at a store called Skiis and Bikes (not a mis-spelling; that's how the store spells its name) located in Mississauga, just west of Toronto.  They have Dynastar, Fischer and Rossi.  Eg: I saw a pair of Rossi WC GS skis, 185 length, brand new, for $99; list price was something like $1300.  I did a double take and had to ask a shop guy if there was a mistake.

Any slalom skis there?  If so, it might be worth having them shipped to the eastern US.

I don't think so.  Apparently Helluvaskier called the shop, and all they had were GS skis in the low to mid 180's length.  You might want to PM him to confirm.....

Thanks Svend.  I'm swimming in GS skis right now.  Come to think of it, I'm swimming in slalom skis too.  I have two boys that race.

I think I'm all set for now unless I can get them to build me a new ski rack to hold the extras.  Things are starting to fill up at the BEast patrol!  If they had a nice set of new Rossi SL's for $100 you could probably sign me up for another pair though.
