And another echoing desire for all to enjoy the 4th of July.
Being in foreign countries always causes me to see America differently.

And the last few days have been World Cup amazing with Uruguay, Paraguay in the World Cup along with Argentina and Brazil.

We crossed the border from Brazil into Argentina along with a German college student the day before their match.  Boy, did he receive some good natured crap from the clerks, threatening not to allow him into Brazil because of their dislike for Germany, etc., etc.

A little late, but, Happy July 4th to all. Saw some first class fireworks last night. Of all the holidays, Independence Day is special.

Jim, the South American countries must be total depression. I am not a soccer fan, don't follow the sport at all, but, the World Cup games are fun. Enjoy your trip!

When we first got down here there was excitement everywhere.? The air is pretty much out of those balloons.

had most of the family over in 99 degrees yesterday, cooked on a 500 degree grill......  It was a a good time, just kept chugging seltzer!

took a nice header on my mtn bike Sunday AM, front tire got stuck in an eroded trail section and threw me, duck the head and roll onto the back.  No damage to bike or rider, just a coulple nice bruises and a jammed thumb, could have been worse.  Good fun!

They weren't rooting for anyone.? My son asked one of the Argentine cab drivers if he was rooting for Uruguay now that Argentina was out.? The answer was, "No, I don't give a **** about Uruguay"
