March is typically much beter than April in Tahoe. April usually brings the freeze and thaw cycle, and you will ski corn a slush bumps. In march you still have a great shot for some winter like conditions and some big pow dumps. Of course in Tahoe anything can happen pretty much anytime. As your plans firm up let me know. I look forward to skiing with you.

JB,

All I know right now is that I have a standing invite from Phil, and, hell yes, if we can link up, I'd love to make some turns with you. The thought did come to get in touch with you and see if Phil/you and I can make some turns. I'm pretty flexible in scheduling, but, need to resolve where/when to ski this winter. Present thinking is Tahoe in the spring, but, I need to resolve where to go in Jan or Feb first. Decisions, Decisions!

I've never been to Tahoe and this trip will be one less to-do in the bucket.

It will be a pleasure to go 2 on 1 with Phil about converting to PMTS! ::)

Bring it...along with some Eagle Rare..it is unavailable here.

I exited the religious war a long time ago. I am grateful for what I have learned from Harald. There is space for everyone to learn their own way and for them to hold their own views on skiing. Skiing with others that love it as much as I do is always great. I look forward to it.

Sorry to come to the party so late. Gary, it was great to finally meet you and Alice. And for the limited conditions, we managed to get a lot of skiing under our belts this early season. JC and company were at their typical best providing us with a lot of skill development drills as well as finding ways to make it all fun.
Nancy and I are looking forward to skiing with you guys again soon.

Hey Joe...good to hear from you. Alice and I feel the same way. Joe and Nancy both have a great sense of humor and carry those big ski smiles with them all over. Plenty of laughs and wine sharred. Hope to be able to ski with you guys at Steamboat in Feb...so let's stay in touch for sure.

Ok Mike...I'm kinda in the same boat as JB......PMTS taught me tons of cool stuff I still use and John Clendenein admits no doubt, there is a place for HH teachings. John just highlights other factors that accentuate, the pole touch,  the use of the up hill edge, the focus on the feet, skiing in the future, solid use of the drift or as HH would say the Float. Open minds let all sorts of cool stuff come in!

Taking JC methods into broken snow, bumps and pow have been a "auto pay grade initiative" for us. So whether we're rippn' GS turns, or making small churn and burners along the edges, pow, bumps or broken snow, the proper tools for the job makes it a whole lot easier!

Best, G
