If you click (about 5 times) on the Steamboat Website, you might be able to find it.

well, the forecast did not dissappoint!  from what I can tell, about 8" or so fell last night and periodically throughout the day. forecast for tonight into Saturday is continuous snow accumulating to up to a foot or maybe a little more. Long term forecast is looking great with snow showers and light snow into next week with another potential storm hitting Wednesday.....

float and gloat time...... 8)

Well, folks, a total of 11" yesterday and it's still coming down. Mr. Cassara's USA today forecast says grab yer' fatties and get yer' shred on!  :)

BTW- the USA Today forecast has been uncanny in it's accuracy, go figure!

Very true OWPOHS (sound like OPOS)....(old native description for "One Who Pees On His Skis")

USA Today has a wonderful colored map on the back of the front section of their newspaper that has a 7 day forecast. It has had better accuracy than other weather forecastors.

Guys.....will we be that lucky to get inches and inches of fresh snow....that would be just the "nuts"! I'm feeling it...pow!

well it continues to snow  with another 5" over night! More on the way. Long term looks a bit dry but there is a lot of terrain that hasn't opened holding lots of pow. My guess is much of the terrain will open this weekend. This is typical. YAHOOOOOOO

Everyone was clearly zealous in doing the snowatella or appropriate version of said  "bring on the snow" dance.
Ron, Thank you for continued update on conditions.
Feel better. Can't have you under the weather now that the time has actually arrived!

I am going to the doctor this AM. I will try ot get some antobiotics and knock this down. I have plenty of time to recover so I am not worried. I am doing my leg work out tomorrow instead of today. Its all good an the communal spirit will bring me up anyway
