Yeah, I have been pretty obsessed with the Obsethed. I have read everything on Epic, TGR and Peter's review. I have read everything on all the skis in this category. My home mountain will have a bunch of these to demo in Montana. I am sure I will find one that I like. I will post reviews on all of them.

To those who don't understand our obsession, trying to whittle down choices is very important, you can't just go and demo a bunch of skis without doing your homework. Besides, when you demo, you are lucky if it's a powder day or a day with leftovers. Good Job John, I'm with ya' bro!  :)

JB- I had a chance to pick up a Obsethed this weekend. Very interesting ski. Very soft, very soft!!!  I laid it on the floor and I didn't really notice much rocker although it was pretty flat. I think I would like to try this for sure. I like the dims and the overall feel of the ski- at least on dry land. :) I am keeping my Shamans for this season or unless I get a chance to demo something that is really sweet.

I have a pair of K2 Brewski's on he way, they are the Red/White/Blue skis based on the ObSethed. I will be mounting these up and bringing them to JH. Should be interesting in comparing notes.

I'm anxious to hear what you have to say about those.  Keeping the 102's or keeping them around for a bit?

Am I correct in assuming that these skis perform best with a wide platform binding, such as the Griffon/Jester?

the wider platform of the jester/griffon is great. Any wider ski benefits from them

Phil, I am really looking forward to getting on those.  We noticed a lot of rockers at Steamboat. Hell bents, Obsetheds and some Armada's. very interesting.....
