A very cool pair of burnt orange boots showed up today.  Very interesting boot. I will try on later.

BUT, many thanks Phil & Trish.

well here's the initial eval.

The boot is very sleek and relatively light. Very nice two step, adjustable buckles. low profile. Nice feel to them.
Very upright!
Nice closure on the toe, can tell it's been re-inforced to help prevent snow and cold out from coming in.
Very nice strap, very beefy.

Liner
Again a lot of thought went into the desing, seemless toe, preshaped for heel/achielles
Nice materials
Plastic reinforced cuff wrap
VERY cool feature- pre cut and reinforced opening at base of heel for? boot heaters with elastic retainer on upper cuff for wire.

went with the 26.5, 306 shell for my just 10.5 street foot. Shell fit was excellent, about 1/2" heel space, laterally nearly no space, can feel shell all around foot.
Put in liner this feels very good! Tight everywhere, especially noticed the huge difference in the instep, very tight and snug.? Lenght is perfect. I don't think I will need grinding.
Toe box is a dream with a little extra space at the 6th toe. Again, this is almost too good to be true.

I will put my beds in tonight to see how my allignemtn is but sitting here in my office, I can pretty much see its damn close.  (but again, I am not a fitter)

Nice Ron.. I believe you're going to love the results...

Sounds like a great fit too.....I however have my size 13 foot in a 303mm boot....toes are curled over just at the optimal position and boy, is the heel snug!   ;D

Ok...size 10 sneakes in the 303....91/2 street shoe....

Get the right fit and your skiing performance really improves.

Can't wait to hear your on snow review Ron....Wasatch...he re they come!

No Lynn...I can see how that could be interpreted that way...

I was just having fun with the fact that so many pro's crame their feet into boot sizes 2-3 times smaller.

Just being silly with the pinch of serious about getting the right fit.

ahh, yes OK, you are a size 10 shoe?  those are some big feet for your height.....  Interpret as you want.... ;D

I am just a 10.5, so I don't mind the tight fore/aft fit. My toes don't jam or get bruised.  Hey does that make my feet small for my 6'???  Oh no!!! >:D

skied the rx 2 days on everything from 4 inches fresh, groomed soft, piled dense stuff and soft bumps. I love these boots. I have to say that I was totally wrong about the stiffness factor. Although these are 130's they have a very smooth even flex. I love how much energy they create. small movements get big results. Much less effort,  The upright position of the boot is great. Much less wear on the legs and its easier to work the ski as well. I actually skied them with no work done to them, very comfortable.  Warm too.  Call dr. phil today!

Ron,
It's amazing to hear a new boot works so well right out of the box. It would be so cool to be able to demo boots, but, as an original Big Foot, can't ever see that happening. You may have described how you picked the size, but, did you just order it w/o trying it on? Of course, ordering from Phil provides a bunch of security as it should be returnable if the fit was poor.

The devil in me wants you to know that Lange's still are not HH approved, so you've not joined the dark side, but you're inching a little closer. >:D

Enjoy.

Paging Dr Phil and Snow Hot,
Looking for your reviews of your new boots now that you have been on skis for several days. I'm assuming Trish made the transition from Dalbello, but, not sure. It's still hard to believe that Flexon Phil has transitioned.
