no, there was a defiinite method to my madness and I am really happy with the 2 main skis.  Icelantic will be releasing a rocker for next season and if they let me have an early release I'll take one of those and dump the HB's but that's it. I am really pleased with the performance envelope of the two skis.  You and i will have to disagree on what a mid-fat is, 90mm for soft oriented snow is right on the money as to what a lot of folkls call a mid fat; especailly since the Pilgrim is 19mt tr. I really have no desire for anything narrower. I really don't ski on true hardpack and for the couple of days that I am forced to, the pilgrim is more than adequate. If we get out there and there's soft snow, you're right, i won't be on groomers. :)

I'm with Gary Ron, it is only September and you were setting records by Novemeber of last yera. We will see. I do find it interesting that you have nothing close to what I would call a midfat, and you are miles from owning a hard snow focused ski. If you come to Montana, you will enjoy rocking on some awesome corduroy and a true hard snow carver is a blast to be on there. Of course it is usually pretty sweet off piste there as well, so you might end up skipping the corduroy!!?
