A guess from what's happening in Philly is that hospitals are closing maternity sections.

In my early 50's my lifelong employment ended in a corporate downsizing. Parachute was maybe bronze, sure not gold. Getting cut free is a time of danger and also a time of opportunity to figure out the rest of your life, which becomes a never-ending process. The past decade has had it's share of good and down time, but, I've become a lot more accountable, learned that entitlement concepts no longer apply.

I fully trust you will thrive, but, just in case good luck!
