This is pretty obvious.? If you prolong the life of your bicycle because you've changed you upgraded wheels, pedals, rear derailleur, and the handlebars, then is it still the "same old bike".? ?

If you take all your components off of your bicycle and put them on a completely new frame, is it still the same old bicycle.? ?

Actually, it made no sense to me either, but I assumed that at least the original version made sense (to someone).? But it would be interesting to hear the original (prior to ski boot adaptation).? ?? Phil??

Old timer walks into hardware store...clerk asks....."Is that the same axe you have had all these years?"  Old timer..."Yup, replaced the handle 3 times and the head 2 times but it's the same axe"

Does that make sense?
