Crayheater, thank you for your thoughts. I agree that "hot young skiers hit them at high speed and launch air" are a problem, but the twin tippers, boarders (knuckle draggers), and straight liners exist at all ski areas these days. I appreciate that Revelstoke has a lay out with the cross roads that exacerbate the problem.

I do not consider myself to be "an expert" but I consider myself to be a strong skier for my age (60). I will let Jim, Lynn or Todd weigh in on my skiing as they have all skied with me. It is rare that I shy away from a trail unless it is bumpy (skiing on one artificial knee) - bring on the new snow (we don't have powder in the east :'(), packed pow, groomed, or eastern boilerplate.
