Good goals so far. Here are Mine:
1. Get comfortable in the Air-I suffer from learning to ski after the age of 30-I'm ok with very modest jumps with good, wide open landings-but I lack the casual comfort of true experts who handle vertical drops in most situation with ease and aplomb. I'm not talking TGR jumps, I just mean the 10 footer in smooth transition.
2. Travel More-I haven't put together a really good extended ski trip in the last two seasons, that has got to change this season.
3. All Conditions-All Terrain with equal skill and comfort on both. Want to make this more than just a Mantra, but a reality (In my opinion, skilled, fluid, balanced skiing in All Conditions and Terrain is the hallmark of the true expert.
4. Teach Skiing: I'd like to do this more as an on-hill instructor for Patrol ski and sled skills and I'm looking into part-time ski school work (at Berkshire east and possibly Mount Snow...we'll see).
5. I had around 45 ski days in last season...this year, I'd like to equal that but make sure my entire family is part of 70% of them (and that includes Biggie as well as Shorty and the Little woman.).
First true Frost last night...It's coming!
