Jim....just wanted to let you know...I did look into that new Fischer vacum packed boot. Probably would have bought one if our local shop had the $100,000 machine the shops need to get the boot shaped to your foot. I think our shop (according to the Fischer rep) will have this machine for next season.

In the meantime...I was VERY fortunate to find an outstanding off the shelf fit for my foot in the Lange RX pro130, just a wee tweak for the 6th toe.

Still...the Fischer concept intrigues me especially if you watch their video on how the boot process works....pretty darn cool.
So...whatever you end up doing....make sure that boot is spot on cause....
