LP, I also hope you had a good time at least while you were skiing (because for most looking at Video is not always fun). But this is the single best learning tool in existence. HH often says that perception is miles from reality when it comes to skiing and new movement patterns. Studetns think they are exagerating movements that they are barely doing correctly. Unless you have a trained eye watching you video is the only way to know for sure if you are making the movements you want to make corrrectly. Even better you can become your own coach, as you saw today what you thought you were doing you weren't.

I saw HH at the end of last season and had his and Max and Diana's eye on me. I did two days with Harald in Decenber and have skied another 15 days and it is now time to pull out the camera and do the video test. I will be back in MT on Friday with a friend who is going to shoot a good bit of Video. Max never goes more than a few weeks without having video shot of himself. I try to do the same. Again this is the single greatest instruction/learning tool that exists.

Don't be bummed. Get excited! You now know exactly what to work on and you will know when you are doing it right if you keep shooting video. Congrats!!
