I skied Killington and Mt. Snow this week...both were pretty great...I'm a fan of soft snow...doesn't matter what kind, crud, breakable crust, powder, corn, heavy wet stuff--I just like soft snow.   And sunshine doesn't suck either!

However, Josh, I think the initial lamentation here referred to the fact that south of I-90 in the northeast, local skiing has completely melted out.  And that's a fair lamentation, no?

I am supposed to go up to Jay Peak next week...we'll see what's left up there!
